Outside the couple's lovely farmhouse near Chipping Campden

Roger & Liz

A chilly winter’s day didn’t put off Roger & Liz to head into freezing conditions outside for their engagement shoot today at their lovely farmhouse near Chipping Campden. Kitted out in winter woolies we choose a couple of lovely locations around the garden and it was important for them to have their farmhouse in the background as they’d only just moved into the property and wanted to mark the occasion. I also photographed them both individually inside in more professional poses for their Facebook profile page. They were both brilliant and so relaxed in front of the lens. Fingers crossed for warmer weather on their wedding day in September!

Frames, albums and thank you cards (by the way, that's not the camera I use on my shoots!)

A selection of my work in the window at The White Rose Bridal Boutique in Chipping Campden

I’ve been working with The White Rose Bridal Boutique in Chipping Campden since it opened in September last year to create a selection of inspiring interiors and product images to promote this lovely new boutique. This month, owner Danielle has invited me to display a selection of favourite photographs from 2011 in her boutique window. As well as framed images, albums and thank you cards, I’ve featured as centrepiece a beautiful gilt frame kindly supplied by my fab framer Richard Christie that aims to show the diversity of my work. By the way, that’s not the camera I use on shoots! It was given to me years ago and I’ve been waiting for an opportune time to use it!

Ian & Emma’s Christmas wedding at The Van Dyk Hotel

1 Jan

Christmas is an exciting time for most of us but particularly for Ian & Emma who now also have their wedding anniversary to celebrate during the festive season. The Hotel Van Dyk was the setting for their winter wedding and the couple had gone to great lengths to make it a memorable day for guests including a gift for each of them under a special Christmas tree in the marquee. The kids among the group certainly enjoyed showing off their new toys during proceedings. Emma looked stunning and the couple had a great day.
